This magazine first started out as a fun pastime for two extremely bored high-schoolers during their exam season. At the time, who knew that Canva, Wix and Cardd would become our most-visited sites online?! Working on the surrealistic ideas of spontaneity from the very start, le canard was chosen as our symbol solely based off of our Pinterest feed.
Before we knew, the Canva issue covers being created began piling up and soon, we had before ourselves the start of our very own French magazine. Playing with the idea of "chance encounters", one thing is very clear: the contents of each issue is not decided by careful brainstorming, but by the fated appearances of objects, subjects and themes before us.
The split-second decision of starting this journey is a testimony to our determination to allow fate to play a hand at the future of this magazine.
From here on, we are merely pawns in fate's bigger plan for this magazine's legacy. Le destin n'est pas notre adversaire, c'est notre ami !
